What better summer reading is there than reading the Bible? This summer’s challenge will be to read through the “Triple T’s” (First and Second Timothy and Titus). The challenge will go from August 4th till August 16th. We’ll pair you with one or two other USC students and a major part of the challenge is to text your group something that impressed you each day. Feel free to read whichever version of the Bible you prefer. Those who complete this challenge will be rewarded with a prize, but the real reward is a deeper understanding of God’s word, meaningful fellowship with other Christian students, and growth in your relationship with Christ! We hope you’ll accept this challenge!
Why the challenge?
1. Reading the Bible is the best way to know God and to know His eternal purpose.
2. Often we start reading the Bible but after a short while our inspiration wanes and we don’t end up getting very far. Reading together in this challenge will help us to stay motivated and accountable.
3. Over the summer break many of us go home. Reading the Bible together is a great way to stay connected until school starts again in the fall. Text each other, call each other, and even share on Facebook and Twitter what God has been revealing to us through our reading.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly...
